Whipped Into Shape
I am so excited to dive into something new on the blog today! First off, one of the great things about spending time in Birmingham has been the opportunity to connect with other bloggers here. My friend, Deanna, has an amazing blog. We met through Pure Barre when I was in college and have stayed in touch. Deanna is so fun and full of incredible insights. You can check her out at Well and Worthy Life and on her Instagram! She features so many wonderful things on her blog, from fashion to nutrition, fitness, wellness, travel and more! I love following her adventures and I am sure y'all will too! I am thankful to be able to connect with her and collaborate!
Though I don't feature it often, athletic wear is a huge part of my wardrobe. You may see it from time to time on my Insta Story, but I am going to share more of my favorite things on the blog. Black is definitely my go to color when it comes to athletic wear, but I do have some variation. One important thing for my life is to be able to take athletic wear from the studio to the street and that is just what we have done for this post! When I am in the city, most weekends you can find me with my friends going to Soul Cycle followed by brunch... so this studio to street thing is something I do often!
So first, let's talk about the studio look! These All Black Footwear Amazing Mesh Sneakers are probably my most complimented shoes. No joke, I get stopped everywhere in these, from the subway, to the hospital, to the street... I mean LITERALLY everywhere. Do yourself a favor and get these sneakers! You will LOVE them! My Ultracor leggings are another favorite. This skull pair is actually a Soul Cycle purchase, but I have also have the stars print and have linked other styles!
Now, to take this outfit to the street I have added a long split sweater from Beyond Yoga. Deanna and I both purchased this item on our own and we knew we had to feature it! This instantly takes your workout outfit to the next level. I also added some Marc Fisher platforms... and now I am totally ready for brunch!
